Beckett & Co Solicitors hit the airwaves!

This was an exciting week for us at Beckett & Co. Why? Because our very first radio advertisement went live on our local radio station, Chorley FM! I actually heard the advert, live on air, for the first time as I was driving home from work one evening. To hear it gave me a little thrill, if I’m honest, for two reasons: the first is that it’s nice to think of the people in our local community hearing about the services that we provide. The second, more important reason, is that by promoting Beckett & Co Solicitors on Chorley FM we are actually helping a wonderful not-for-profit community organisation provide wider community services to our local community.

Chorley FM does a fantastic job of bridging the gap between the non-business and business communities in Chorley and helping to promote community initiatives and charities in the area. The station also plays some pretty good music to cater for all tastes. What many people don’t realise is that Chorley FM is run and staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers and without revenue from local advertisers the station would not be able to survive.

I’m a Chorley girl born and bred. I’m also the owner of a Chorley business. I therefore have a real interest in helping Chorley to thrive and I believe that it is really important for Chorley to have its own community radio station. Chorley FM works hard for the good of the community and is an organisation that we at Beckett & Co Solicitors are proud to support!
