SLIPS, TRIPS AND FALLS
If you have been injured as a result of a slip, trip or fall you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation.
Some examples of tripping and slipping accidents, include:
Tripping on a raised paving slab or a hole in the pavement or road;
Slipping on a wet shop floor;
Tripping over boxes stacked on a shop floor;
Tripping or slipping at work.

If you do suffer a fall as a result of a trip or slip you should, if possible, take a photograph showing the place where you fell as soon as possible, before the tripping hazard can be moved or repaired. A photograph will often be very important in helping to prove your claim. What Can I Claim For?
You can claim compensation for the pain, suffering and effect on your activities caused as a result of the injury. You can claim for any loss of earnings, loss of overtime, loss of bonus or other benefits. You can also claim for any other financial loss incurred as a result of the accident or injury such as medical treatment fees, the costs of damaged clothing, etc.
